Crawl Space Drainage & Standing Water

Puddles after rain need a drainage plan. We look at how water enters and where it can discharge, then explain whether drainage or a Workhorse sump pump belongs in your repair.Crawl space drainage Sump pumps

Crawl Space & Water Problems in Indian Trail: What to Check Before Repairs
Local drainage resources and practical questions to help you prepare for a repair at your Indian Trail home.
Start with what you have noticed: where water appears, when a musty smell returns, or which part of the floor feels different. Then connect those observations with an inspection and the local resources below. These references help you ask specific questions before agreeing to a scope of work.
Indian Trail Stormwater Requests & Water at the Foundation
Indian Trail provides a stormwater service-request form with progress updates. Its local resources also describe the Goose and Crooked Creek watersheds. Use the town’s reporting route for a public drainage concern while arranging a separate inspection of water entering your house.
Make a short record of the problem: the nearest inlet or ditch, the side of the home affected and the time water appeared. Those details help distinguish a broader drainage question from a downspout, crawl space opening or other entry path at your property.
Indian Trail publishes storm-drain standards that include easements for pipes and open channels. Before a new private drainage route is chosen, point out any recorded easement or existing drainage feature on your lot and ask whether it affects the proposed work.
The written plan should show the collection area and discharge point. If encapsulation or insulation is also recommended, ask how water will be managed before the space is enclosed and how drain or sump-pump access will be retained afterward.

Devin D. has been our tech the last two times and we are so happy with his service and attention to detail. Devin is a problem solver, has great disposition, patience and sense of urgency.
He’s worked late on Fridays to make sure our dehumidifier is left working properly, so we appreciate his dedication. We hope he continues growing within the company and in his career.

Last week and did a great job, and their prices were the best. Today, their Manager Jason trainer came to the house and brought the sensors that let me know how much humidity there is in each space. He also checked the fan motor a little noise and it was a piece of cardboard and the fan area. They also didn’t try to sell me on a lot of things I didn’t need
